The exam at a glance

Part 1: written Applied Knowledge Test and Key Feature Problems.
Part 2: Clinical Competency Examination (CCE). From 2027, the CCE runs twice a year.

Run by the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia, with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

How to practise for it here

166 original stations, one for every key concept in the family medicine curriculum, each with a candidate sheet, patient script, examiner script and calibrated marking sheet.

Choose MAFP–FRACGP Conjoint when you sign up, and the station timer runs 5 minutes reading, then a 15-minute case, as in the RACGP Clinical Competency Exam. Use Custom if your exam instructions differ.
Work through the curriculum system by system, so every key concept has been run at least once.
Re-run borderline stations in blinded mode in the final weeks.
